Adriana Cerezo, silver in the Grand Prix of Rome on her way to Paris 2024

The Spanish taekwondo athlete Adriana Cerezo won the silver medal this Sunday at the Rome Grand Prix, in the -49 kilos category, after falling in the final with the Thai Panipak Wongpattanakit.

Cerezo did not achieve a small revenge against the Asian wrestler, executioner of the Spanish in the final of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The Madrid, champion last year in Rome, lost 4-0 to the favorite, a Wongpattanaki who achieved her tenth series gold.
