Adama, an alternative to Morata

Barça never ceases to surprise in this final rush of the winter transfer window. As reported this Wednesday by Catalunya Ràdio and ESPN, Adama Traoré (25-1-1996), international winger of Wolverhampton Wanderers, is plan B if Morata does not arrive at Barça. It is strange that a player with such a specific position (right winger) and in which the plays on the wing practically end, is the alternative to a center forward whom Xavi wanted for his tactical intelligence.

Adama has played 23 games this season and has only scored one goal. The contract ends in 2023 and his signing would be surprising because Barça has just signed Ferran Torres, a footballer who has announced that his preferred position is the right winger. In any case, one more name on the table that the Wolves would not give away either.

While, Morata awaits news in Madrid from his representative, Juanma López, who is already back in Spain after being in Italy to see first-hand how his client’s operation is doing, who needs Juventus to sign Vlahovic, that Old lady and Atlético give their approval to the operation and Barça resolves the case Dembele.

Adama Traoré has been linked in recent months with Barça on several occasions, but on many without much foundation and with the feeling, transmitted from the club itself, that it was a representative movement with Jorge Mendes at the helm. Now, always according to Catalunya Ràdio and ESPN, the interest is serious.
