As announced Josep Pedrerol in the Jugones de La Sexta sports space, Real Madrid will sue Eufemiano Fuentes for the statements that link him to Real Madrid made in the interview with Jordi Évole that was broadcast on Sunday night. The extract for which he complains, taken from that interview, of little more than a minute, is the following:
– “Did you advise the doctors at Valencia?” Évole asks Dr. Eufemiano Fuentes, the protagonist of the largest doping plot in Spanish sport in the mid-2000s.
– “No”, the doctor answered with certainty.
– “You advised the Real Madrid doctors.” Eufemiano Fuentes makes a long silence, lowers his head, holds his forehead …
– “I'm not going to answer that question.”
– “With whom could we talk about Real Madrid to find out if you worked with your doctors?” Eufemiano Fuentes continues with his dramatization of the subject. He fidgets in the seat, asks if he has water, grabs a bottle of water. “You let me? It is that while I drink, I think ”.
– “You have referred to the Real Madrid doctor as Alfonsito,” continues Évole.
– “Sure”, answers Eufemiano Fuentes. “So, obviously, to a doctor offended by having been linked to me, he can't ask him. Right not? Who else witnessed that? Nobody else”.
-“Of that? What's that?”. Évole insists.
– “Of what I said did not happen.”
– “What a pirouette, huh?”
– “You caught me, you caught me for an idiot”, ditch Eufemiano.
