Aaron Rodgers joined “The Pat McAfee Talk” one day after he was said to be leaving the team.
Aaron Rodgers went back on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” on Thursday afternoon, even though McAfee had said the day before that Rodgers’ weekly part was over for the season.
Rodgers fought with late-night star Jimmy Kimmel, which got a lot of attention across the country when Kimmel reacted to Rodgers’s suggestion on McAfee’s show that he was seeing convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein. ESPN is owned by Disney, as is ABC, which is where Kimmel’s show airs.
McAfee said on his show on Wednesday that “Aaron Rodgers Tuesdays” season four was over. “To be honest, I think a lot of individuals will be happy with that. “It got really loud at the end,” he said.
After that, McAfee wrote in a long social media post that Rodgers would continue to provide “random surprise welcomed pop-outs during major occurrences or summer adventures.”
Nick Saban, a legendary coach at Alabama, announced his retirement that same night. The next day, the Patriots of New England said they were firing longtime coach Bill Belichick.
Rodgers talked about Bill Belichick as well as his leaving the New England Patriots on Thursday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show. Belichick is a Hall of Fame coach.
Rodgers also talked about how much he’s loving his time off in the woods now that the NFL season is over and the Jets didn’t make the playoffs. He even made a joke about it being light, which was different from last year’s darkness retreat.
It was a big deal in the news the last few days when the 40-year-old quarterback got into an argument with Jimmy Kimmel. He used to play quarterback for the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers said Kimmel was “one of the people truly hoping that list doesn’t come out” when it came to a list of people who work with Jeffrey Epstein. Rodgers also talked quickly about Nick Saban’s long and successful career as a coach at Alabama.
Kimmel had slammed Rodgers on his TV show and social media, saying that Rodgers’ family was in danger because of the false claims against him. A lot of people thought Kimmel should say sorry, but Rodgers stood up for himself.
Rodgers said on Tuesday’s episode of CNN’s Pat McAfee’s talk show, “I totally understand the gravity of an allegation in pedophilia would be, therefore for him to be angry about that, I get it.”
“Even though you think I’m stupid and said a lot of ignorant things about my intelligence, I’m not foolish enough to accuse you of that with no proof whatsoever; that’s ridiculous.”
At the start of “The Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday, the ESPN host said that the Jets quarterback’s last game of the season was over.
“To be honest, I’ll be one of those people who is happy with that,” McAfee said. “Towards the end, it got very loud. It’s good news that he won’t be in my mentions anymore.
Andrew Marchand of The Post wrote that Rodgers was originally supposed to play in all of the playoff games.
McAfee wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Wednesday night that the end of the part was planned as well as that he hopes Rodgers will come back in the future.

Rodgers was every week in January after the regular season ended. He even showed up on the Tuesday after the big game and other days after that until the end of February, when he went on his dark vacation.
There is a fight between Rodgers and Jimmy Kimmel at the end of his fourth season as a guest on the show. He said that Kimmel might be on a list of people connected to Jeffrey Epstein.
