Villarreal CF regretted “deeply” this Wednesday “the accidental death of a person who collaborated in the stadium reform work” of La Cerámica and its surroundings.
“The club wants to express its deepest condolences to the family and friends in the face of this irreparable loss,” the ‘Submarino’ announced in an official statement in the afternoon.
In the morning, the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) reported the fatal event in Vila-real (Castellón), when a man was trapped by a mechanical bull.
Around 12:00 noon, the CICU was alerted that there was a worker trapped by a mechanical bull on Molí Bisbal street in Vila-real. A SAMU unit, a SVB unit and a Primary Care doctor traveled to the place. The SAMU medical team confirmed the death of the worker, in his 60s.
