Last Saturday a group of about 20 hooded men identified, according to witnesses, as members of the Ultra Sur group, radicals of Real Madrid, appeared in a bar in the Barrio del Pilar in Madrid. The ultras entered the premises and destroyed it minutes after the derby between Real Madrid and Atlético had finished, as reported by Telemadrid today. At the premises, on Sangenjo street, some rojiblancos fans had gathered to watch the game, but at the time of the assault they were gone. According to Telemadrid, members of the radical rojiblanco group Frente Atlético sometimes go to the bar.
The assault resulted in the shattering of the windows, as the hooded men arrived throwing the tables and chairs on the terrace against the windows. Customers took refuge behind the bar of the establishment. After the chaos formed, the radicals ran off, leaving behind a vandalized bar.
