According to the local Porto police, a woman was accompanying him and was also injured. The assailant, police added, had fled when officers arrived..
Porto won the Portuguese championship last night after winning 1-0 against Benfica in the Luz state, in Lisbon. The team traveled to Porto late at night to celebrate the victory with hundreds of fans concentrated around the Estadio do Dragao.
