Neymar, suspended for the Cup final, explodes against “the guy who makes the card rules in France”

Neymar Jr will not be able to play the final of the French Cup who will face PSG and AS Monaco next Wednesday at the Stade France. The Committee of the French Football Federation met today to evaluate the possibility of sanctioning to the Brazilian after his yellow card against Montpellier and has decided to leave him without contesting the final against Monaco.

Neymar's sanction is not for accumulation of cards, but for recidivism. A month ago, the Brazilian star received a two-game suspension against Lille after facing Tiago Djaló in the Ligue 1 match. Although he received the yellow card against Montpellier, the Federation has alleged in its verdict that the player was under warning of a possible sanction if he repeated in this type of action.

Neymar's will not be the only casualty that Mauricio Pochettino will have on Wednesday against Monaco. Kimpembe will not be either, since the center-back was suspended with three games after being sent off at Rennes-PSG last Sunday in Ligue 1. Two starters lost by PSG in one of the most important games of the season.

After knowing the sanction, the Brazilian published a story on his Instagram account, outraged by what happened: “I would like to understand what goes through the head of the uncle who makes the card rules in France. He deserves applause. What a mess … The mother who gave birth to him.”
