The youth squad Ramón has already started the counter of his recovery with an eye on the start of the preseason. Malaga's midfielder will be between eight and ten weeks off after going through the operating room this Thursday at the Navarra University Clinic in Madrid to undergo surgery for the joint instability that he had been dragging on for the last two seasons and that caused him several dislocations that led to the rupture of the labrum. The surgical intervention was performed by Dr. José María Silberberg and consisted of reinsertion of the labrum in the shoulder, as reported by the club.
The operation has been successful and the first step towards their return to the pitch is immobilization of the shoulder for a period of between four and six weeks. Málaga has communicated that after this first period, the footballer will have to carry out specific joint mobility exercises, as well as physiotherapy treatment, a bicycle in the gym and continuous running in the last stage of his set-up.
The objective is that Ramón can be in perfect condition for the start of the preseason. The medium will return to Malaga this Friday and his rehabilitation will be supervised by the blue and white club's medical services.
