Brazilian Rodrygo Goes gave an interview to Real Madrid Connect, the evening magazine of the official television of the white club, in which he spoke about the work week, the games that Zidane's team has ahead of him and how he is after his injury.
A week without League to work before what is coming.— “It's a long week without games. Now we have time to train hard every day and be very good when the games come back.”
How are workouts during a break.— “A little stronger than in normal game weeks in which we have to recover thinking about the next one. We train harder, the guys from Castilla are coming … They are the strongest training sessions of the year.”
How you are after your injury. “Now I am very happy. All the time I was away I could not bear to watch the games on TV anymore. Now I am very happy, working every day to be better.”
What is the hardest thing in a recovery.— “Picking up pace again, getting the confidence back from before getting injured. Then other things are a little easier.”
Madrid have ten games in a row without losing. Does it serve as an impetus to the final stretch? – “It's a bit bad for slowing down our pace, but it also gives us time now to train and gain more confidence. When we come back, we hope to do very well.”
Secret of the streak. “It's Real Madrid, we never give up.”
What does Zidane ask of them in attack? – “He always asks us to press up, organized. I think it is better that we press forward there. We are already close to the goal and we don't have to go back 50 meters. It's better for everyone.”
Madrid concedes little in defense. What does Zidane tell them? – “That to always press attentive with the defenders and the wings. That we are close to the rival goal always”.
