FC Barcelona is the best club of the decade (2011-2020) for the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS, in English) and repeats an honor already won by being previously considered the best soccer team between 2001 and 2010. The Blaugranas were considered by the IFFHS as the best team in 2011, 2012 and 2015, and in this decade in which they won two Champions Leagues they have managed to score more points than any other club to be considered, for the second time, the best of the decade.
With a total of 2,877 points added together according to the criteria of the entity, FC Barcelona has exceeded the 2,782 points for Real Madrid, second, and the 2,594.5 from Bayern Munich, third. The Athletic of Madrid, with 2,302 points, is fifth and closes a 'Top 5' with a LaLiga accent.
