The sports city of Nazareth, closer

The sports city of Nazareth is just one step away from becoming a reality. The Consell Jurídic Consultiu de la Comunitat Valenciana gave the green light to the Special Plan for the South Zone 1 of the Port of Valencia, where the new Levante sports city will be located. The plan It will be seen today at the prior informative session of the Territorial Planning Commission of the Valencia City Council, the last step to its publication in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) and will be informed about the project.

Of the 230,000 square meters for public use, the Levante will be framed in Area 3, with about 100,000 square meters (98,940.17 m2) for the sports provision area. The port itself reports that the total area will be divided, a priori, into two different urban areas: one of 94,999.66 m2 destined to house the facilities of the sports city and the other 3,940 m2 to “locate a covered sports equipment”. That is, a pavilion. Area intended, initially, for the future Levante Futsal pavilion, as reflected in the first plans of the project.

The idea of ​​the club is to raise the first stone this year, despite the obvious bureaucratic delays resulting from the current situation.
