Óscar Grau and Román Gómez-Ponti, summoned to testify as defendants

Judge Alejandra Gil has summoned Óscar Grau to testify on June 7 as defendants, the general director of FC Barcelona, and Román Gómez-Ponti, the head of legal services, as a result of the 'Barçagate' case.

The Mossos d'Esquadra, according to the newspaper', attribute to Grau and Gómez-Ponti having exceeded Barça's “wealth management powers” by hiring a series of companies from the same group (Nicestream) to defame players and opponents of the previous board of directors.

Thus, just like the former president Josep Maria Bartomeu and his right hand Jaume masferrer, are accused of a possible crime of unfair administration and corruption between individuals.

So much Grau What Gomez-Ponti were arrested on March 1 by the Mossos d'Esquadra and released the same day.

The judge has also summoned Carlos Ibáñez, the owner of the Nicestream group, to testify as investigated on June 7.

Adriana Gil considers that the contracts were divided into figures of less than 200,000 euros to avoid the internal control and supervision systems of the club.
