Torino does not appear for the game against Lazio

The Lazio-Torino scheduled for this Tuesday is suspended due to the absence of the visiting team. The Turin team, with 10 positives among its ranks, eight of them players, was unable to travel following the instructions of the ASL 'Cittá de Torino' (Local Health Department), who insists on maintaining confinement until 11:59 p.m. this Tuesday , March 2.

Despite the impediment to travel, the Italian league had wanted to keep the match.

Lazio has appeared at the stadium despite knowing that they would not find their rival, so for now they will be credited as the 3-0 winner of that match.

Torino will claim the decision and will try to have the match played on another date.

This season there is a similar precedent. Juventus-Naples, which was not played on October 4 due to the absence of Gennaro Gattuso's team, will finally be played after the decision of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) revoked the decisions taken by the Sole Judge of Serie A, who gave as a 3-0 loser to Napoli and a point left in the standings.

Torino is initially exposed to the same sanction, although this precedent works in their favor and after the claims, the match will presumably be scheduled again.

In fact, last weekend, the Italian league did decide to postpone Torino-Sassuolo after the cases registered in the Turin team.
