Juventus would prefer to keep Morata on loan

Once the January transfer window is over, we are thinking about the summer one. Juventus will then have to talk to Atlético about Morata, who is on loan in Turin from the rojiblanco club. Pirlo is happy with the Spanish striker, who had a great impact, especially in the early part of the season when Cristiano was out. Morata then took a step forward. He has scored important goals. 13 goals and 10 assists adds the international striker, signing a goal every 132 minutes.

Juve want to keep Morata, but they are doing numbers, according to Corriere di Torino. The Spanish is not the only operation that he has to face and that had been postponed to next summer. Players like McKennie or Chiesa are also on loan and they have to face their purchase. In this case, The Turin newspaper points out that Juventus plans to fully buy the American's pass to Schalke and renegotiate a new loan with Atlético for Morata.

The price of the new loan would be 10 million to be discounted from the purchase option of 45. Juventus would ask Atlético to win a year, hoping that the effects of the pandemic have been mitigated by then. It is something very similar to what Atlético agreed with Chelsea in their day, with whom they negotiated a first loan for a season and then extended. Morata is happy in Turin and Atlético has found the perfect replacement in Luis Suárez. The parties are satisfied for the moment, and there has always been a good understanding between Juventus and Atlético.
