Casualties beset Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane has only been able to include 14 players with a record from the first team in the white expedition that has traveled to face Huesca this Saturday (16:15, Movistar LaLiga) at El Alcoraz. The white coach has added at the last minute the absence of Isco, who suffered a puncture in the back at the end of the last training session, to the casualties of Ramos, Carvajal, Lucas Vázquez, Valverde, Hazard and Rodrygo due to injury; and that of Militao by sanction. The club appealed the red that the Brazilian central defender saw against Levante, but both the Competition Committee and the Appeal Committee rejected the entity's allegations and ratified the suspension match for the defender.
With all those setbacks Zidane has called three Castilla players. They travel to Huesca with the expedition the porter Altube (usual in Zizou's lists as third goalkeeper), the central Victor Chust and the band midfielder Marvin park to travel with the first team to Huesca. The coach has not been able to count on more players since LaLiga's covid protocol requires that any soccer player called up had passed a PCR test on Thursday.
Zidane barely has a choice for midfield and attack, but the puzzle is concentrated on the rear line. Odriozola will remain on the right side and Mendy on the left side, while Nacho will form the axis of the rear with Varane. The youth squad has only participated in two training sessions after being isolated for 15 days due to the coronavirus.
With all those considerations, the possible eleven that Zidane can line up against Huesca is made up of: Courtois; Odriozola, Varane, Nacho, Mendy; Modric, Casemiro, Kroos; Asensio, Benzema and Vinicius. Hazard's withdrawal allows the Brazilian to return to the eleven in the League eight games after his last start. On the bench, Zidane will have just six players (two of them goalkeepers) for the maximum of five substitutions allowed this year: Lunin, Altube, Víctor Chust, Marcelo, Marvin and Mariano. Kroos is warned and will miss Real Madrid-Getafe on Tuesday 9 (9:00 p.m., Movistar LaLiga) if he sees yellow.
