Sevilla has made official the signing of Argentine Papu Gómez, the first and surely the only winter addition to be made by the Nervión team. The attacker signs until 2024 and arrives after a payment of five million euros was agreed with Atalanta plus another two subject to different variables.
Papu Gómez traveled to the capital of Andalusia by private flight at noon this Tuesday, although the officiality of his signing was delayed until the medical examination passed and the last documents were signed. Said signature already took place in the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán with President José Castro present.
The arrival of Papu Gómez will force Sevilla to break their heads to enroll him in the Champions League, since right now there are no chips available for the competition. Everything happens through an exit, with all eyes on Franco Vázquez, or by leaving any of the current members of the squad without registering.
