The key names of the first round of LaLiga: Messi, Oblak, Fekir …

LaLiga has passed the 19th matchday and faces the second round. The first part of the season has left several proper names. Many players have stood out for different facets in these days: either for their goals, their saves, their dribbles or their tickets.

Messi and Suárez, pichichis

Despite the difficult start to the League, Leo Messi reaches the halfway point of the season as the top scorer in the competition, matched by his friend and former teammate Luis Suárez. The Uruguayan is one of the keys for Atlético to occupy the first position in the standings. Both Messi and Suárez accumulate eleven goals in their private account. In the fight there is also a Spaniard, Gerard Moreno. The Villarreal forward is having a great campaign and has accumulated ten goals. But Gerard will be out next month as he suffers his second injury so far this season.

Oblak's bolt

The goalkeeper is another of the keys for Atlético to be the leader. The rojiblancos are the team with the fewest goals conceded in all of LaLiga. They only have seven. Oblak also records the highest percentage of stops to shots received. Achieves catch 86% of the balls. A higher percentage than Ter Stegen (76.6%), Bono (74%), Jaume Domenech (72%) and Courtois (71.7%).

Hard

Mikel Merino is the leader in terms of fouls committed (58), followed by Fekir (42) and Javi Galán (41). But the most disciplined are others. Lejeune, Savic, Damián and Casemiro have seen seven yellow cards, being the most booked. The most expelled are Mandi and Diop, with two reds so far this campaign.

The dribblers

Messi tops the list of the player with the most good dribbles (71). Javi Galán (56) occupies the second position and Fekir (47) the third. Although players like Gerard Moreno and Ocampos also stand out, both with 40 good dribbles. One of the consequences of being one of the players who dribbles the most is receiving fouls. On Fekir 57 fouls have been committed; on Ocampos, 52 and on Kike García 48. Not far away are Messi (42) and Maxi Gómez (41).
