The president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, will continue to quarantine, after testing positive for COVID 19. Rubiales already suspended all his activity last weekend and did not attend the finals of the men's and women's Spanish Super Cups, due to having been in contact with a federative worker who tested positive, the Federation reported in a note.
The president remains asymptomatic and is doing well at the moment. Although antigen testing and PCR carried out, both before and immediately after knowing this circumstance, were negative, in the test carried out 72 hours after contact according to the health protocols, the president has tested positive.
Both the president and the employees closest to the worker who initially tested positive always strictly maintained the safety and protection measures at all times, as established in the health protocols.
