LaLiga SmartBank
LaLiga SmartBank is the Second National Division of Spain and is named after its sponsor. Like the Santander League, this competition is also organized by the Professional Football League (LFP) and is disputed by 22 teams that face each other twice throughout the season. This means that there are a total of 42 days.
In the end, the last four of the classification of the Smartbank League they are relegated to Second Division B and the first two classified are promoted directly to the Santander League, while the third, fourth, fifth and sixth classified dispute the promotion playoff. These four teams face each other (third against sixth and fourth against fifth) in a round-trip tie. The winners of each crossing reach the final round in which a match is also played on each field. Finally, the winner gets the long-awaited promotion.
