Castillejo overtakes Brahim to face Juve de Cristiano

Samu Castillejo or Brahim Díaz. Between these two Spanish midfielders is the decision of Pioli, Milan coach, to face one of the most important games of the year against Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus. The Rossoneri are leading and undefeated but Inter are really strong by eliminating any kind of European commitment. Less match load and more legs to focus on assaulting Serie A and keeping the lead with their neighbors by just one point.

At the moment, the game is between them with a Roma and a Napoli at a considerable distance and a Juventus that, after 14 games, has to score enough points (it is 10 behind Milan) if it wants to run again as a candidate to keep its throne. Stefano Pioli will face this match (Wednesday, 8:45 pm) knowing that winning would boost them but it would be an even harder blow for his rival. Every detail matters and also, the position of both Spaniards.

According to the Italian press, Castillejo will overtake Brahim and make the jump to the starting eleven to try to beat Juventus. Although this season Brahim has occupied it more times (in 47% of matches in Serie A), the trend will be reversed against the Bianconeri.

On the 21st he was substituted in the last game against Benevento in minute 36 due to the expulsion of Sandro Tonali, that he will not be able to be against Juve, and this reason could also take him away from the eleven against the Turinese. Without one of their starting midfielders, according to what they point out from Italy, Pioli would prefer a Castillejo somewhat more sacrificed on defense to protect Cristiano Ronaldo's band than Brahim, who could act as a shock from the bench.
