Dembélé joins the return

After the small Christmas hiatus that has allowed Barcelona players to rest for three days, the activity returns this Sunday to the Ciutat Esportiva de Sant Joan Despí with the training that Ronald Koeman has programmed at eleven in the morning behind closed doors. A session in which the presence of Ousmane Dembélé will stand out, who will be tested to be a starter in Tuesday's game against Eibar at the Camp Nou.

The French winger was injured last December 5 in Cádiz as soon as he got off the bench reliving the ghosts of his physical problems. The alarm spread in the Barcelona dressing room, but ultimately it is not a major ailment.

He suffered an elongation in the hamstrings that has forced him to miss the games against Juventus, Levante, Real Sociedad, Valencia and Valladolid, the last duel before the Christmas holidays. Facing the commitment of the Nuevo Zorrilla on the 22nd, Dembélé already had options to enter the call, but Koeman and the doctors chose to be prudent. The coach already warned before traveling to Valladolid that Ousmane would enter the call for the game against Eibar.

The player's injury history advised to go with lead, especially since again the French winger had not known how to listen to his body and detect that he was at risk of injury. As soon as he jumped onto the pitch at Ramnón de Carranza, Dembélé noticed discomfort, but again he did not say anything to the bench and continued on the field, worsening his situation, which made him win yet another reprimand from the team's technicians and doctors.

Now it remains to be seen to what extent his return affects the team's drawing. In Valladolid, Koeman retouched the team's drawing with three centrals leaving the wings free for the ascents of Sergiño Dest and Jordi Alba. The retouch worked, but now it remains to be seen what will happen with Dembélé's recovery.
