Marco Richter avoids the first win of bottom Schalke

A goal in added time from Marco Richter prevented Augsburg's defeat and frustrated Schalke (2-2), who had their first win of the season in hand and are still bottom of the Bundesliga.

Manuel Baum's painting does not come out of the well. Four draws in eleven games is all the balance that has been obtained in this course. Relegation is a serious threat to a storied club, used to pushing for bigger goals.

They came back against Augsburg, who took advantage with an own goal from Suat Serdar after a lateral free kick by Daniel Caligiuri in the half hour.

In the second half he tied thanks to Benito Raman, who picked up a loose ball at the three-quarter line, faced the local goal and with a great finish beat the Polish goalkeeper Rafal Gikiewicz.

Augsburg was left with one less for Florian Niederlechner sent off for a double yellow and Schalke took advantage of it. Six minutes later, Nassim Boujellab, passing Suat Serdar, put the visitors ahead.

The Gelsenkirchen team had their first win of the course in hand. But on the last play of the game, an Austrian pass from Michael Gregoritsch into the box was headed by Marco Richter, who beat Ralf Fahrmann and tied Augsburg.
