The Technical Committee of Referees has confirmed this Sunday the refereeing appointments for next week's matches of the first round of the Copa del Rey, in which First and Second division teams will enter.
One of them is the Atlético de Madrid, who on Wednesday will play in Sant Llorenç de Mallorca against Cardassar, at 7.30 pm. The match will be directed by the Andalusian referee Jorge Figueroa Vazquez.
At 40 years old, the Sevillian referee is celebrating his first season in the top flight of Spanish football. He has been refereed for six league games in which he has never crossed paths with the mattress box, with which he will debut on Wednesday at the K.O.
