Belgium finishes first for the third year in a row and Spain is sixth

Selection of Belgium has finished, for the third consecutive year, first in the world ranking of the FIFA, in which Spain occupies the sixth place.

After a year in which only 352 games have been played, the lowest figure in a calendar year since 1987, due to the pandemic (1,082 were played in 2019), the 'red devils', who won six of their eight games, were keep on top ahead of France, Brazil and England.

Portugal ascends to fifth place and precedes Spain
to Y Argentina, which progressed two positions compared to the previous year, unlike Uruguay, which recedes to the eighth place, while Mexico (9th) e Italy (10th) access the 'top 10'.

Hungary experiences the best progression of the year, as it climbs twelve places and is installed in the fortieth, while Ecuador also improves and is in 56th place.
