On Wednesday, the Egyptian Football Federation presented the Liverpool winger with the Inspirer Award, for the inspiring role Salah plays in his compatriots, as so many fans acknowledge. It has become a symbol and even more so for its closeness with the people and for its effort in helping to combat poverty.

It was on Wednesday a day at the end with a bitter taste for Salah when he learned of the serious injury of his teammate in the 'red' team Joe Gomez, who was operated on this Thursday of the tendon and that according to Liverpool he will miss “a significant part” of the season .
