Femenías saved his team at game time, after a corner kick by Trejo that Catena headed in the small area, and a few minutes later a powerful shot from Fran García touched a powerful shot that ended up crashing against a post and came out bounced away from the area.
Despite being dominated by Rayo, Ziganda's team had their best chance in a counter, in which Sangalli and Viti on the right combined to assist Obeng in the area, but the Ghanaian failed to finish off a ball that he also did not block. Dimitrievski and paced the goal.
