This is the project of Courtois and Borja at DUX Inter in Madrid

Team DUX Gaming, until now dedicated solely and exclusively to the video game market, made history this summer with the purchase of a football club, thus being the first to promote both disciplines. In this project, there are three figures of enormous media transcendence involved: the youtuber DjMaRiiO and the players Thibaut Courtois and Borja Iglesias. They are the owners of the company and now, therefore, owners of the until then known as Internacional de Madrid-Boadilla.

The club has changed its entire structure, forming an academy and changing its headquarters to Villaviciosa de Odón. Further, has adopted its own brands from DUX Gaming, such as the kit, which will be black with white stripes. The shield also changes and is the same as that of the video game entity. However, despite the fact that the budgetary injection has been remarkable, the club continues with the same management structure that it had before the movement. However, the changes are noticeable. Rubén Andrés has taken the sports direction and the squad has taken a 360 degree turn.

DjMaRiiO already warned that they were arriving to settle in the category, but that neither Kylian Mbappé was going to sign for the team nor the Champions League anthem would sound soon in Villaviciosa, as Gerard Piqué wants for his Andorra. Even so, the new International DUX of Madrid comes to revolutionize the Second Division B, precisely in the most anomalous year in its history. Will it succeed? There are still at least 18 days to find out.

Renowned transfers

The arrival of the new owners and the exponential growth of the project have made it necessary to completely remodel the workforce. Over the past few months, it has been common to see one ad after another on the club's social media. A total of 17 footballers !! For the goal itself, three are incorporated: Juanjo Garrancho, Toni Lechuga and Carles Santaló, better known as Kolderiu. Of course, the latter, youtuber with hundreds of thousands of followers, has left on loan to the Adarve because he did not have too many options to be the starting goalkeeper.

In defence, Carlos Exposito and the ex-madridista Marcos Blazquez They will fight for the right back. The left could be for Jose Antonio Franco, recently signed by Cádiz B. Nandi closed the summer of movements with Talavera and could make a couple with Alex Cortijo, another central that arrives from Toledo. The gangs were also a concern for Alfredo Santaelena. Therefore, they have brought Pablo Aguilera to reinforce the left and to Victor Villacañas Y Sergio Arribas for the other side.

The sports management has worked with a mix of men already established in the category with others from affiliates. Their youth and different training undoubtedly facilitate their immediate performance. The one expected, for example, from Atdhe Rashiti, academy player from Alavés, or from David Rabadán, just arrived from Albacete. Close the tall three men called to be important: the forwards Fran Cortés and Adriá de Mesa and the midfielder Gonzalo poley.

Of course, to bring in so many footballers, many more had to come out first. They said goodbye to the club Junior, Gonzalo Llerena, Felipe Ramos, Chevi, Aitor Núñez, Juanjo García, Diego Simón, Jaime Siaj, Aythami Perera, David del Pozo …

The figure of Rubén Andrés

The International DUX of Madrid has bet on Rubén Andrés, a sports director who already had recent experience in the category in the offices of the Merida. His departure from the club was by mutual agreement, after not agreeing with the directive regarding the objectives set. The technical secretary, like the coaches, they considered that they had the resources to save the category by suffering until the last minute. The board of directors, on the contrary, understood that the budget was enough not to suffer. That exchange of views ended in parting ways, yes, with the team saved thanks to the anomalous situation left by the coronavirus.

Rubén Andrés has no qualms about subjecting his squads to tremendous remodeling. In Mérida, renewed eleven footballers and signed another eleven. In winter, since the performance on the lawn was not as expected, made eight other incorporations. Now, he has the full confidence of his new club, which has left an ambitious project in his hands. In the same way, on the last market day they were continuously joking with him through social networks. “Behind each signing there are many people who make it possible for everything to happen. Thanks to Óscar Redondo, José Luis Rodrigo, Inter de Madrid and Team DUX Gaming for making things easy and for all that work that is behind and is not seen, “wrote the sports director after the closing.

The Academy arrives

Not all modest clubs have a strong grassroots structure that guarantees the growth of youngsters from the house who will one day reach the first team. It was one of the main problems that Team DUX Gaming encountered upon arrival and soon began working to create a new project. With the headquarters in Villaviciosa de Odón, the board of directors got down to work to manage permits and preparations to form working groups in different categories.

Last October 6, finally, The International DUX of Madrid proudly announced the start of training for its new Prebenjamines, Benjamines and Alevines. The first generation of the entity's quarry will, in principle, have six teams. With the passage of time, of course, a more solid structure will be created, which confirms the club as one of the capital's references in lower categories.

New owners, new headquarters

In 2016, Internacional de Madrid played their matches in Moraleja de Enmedio, a small municipality of 5,000 inhabitants in the south of the Community. That's when it came to a agreement with CD Nuevo Boadilla to change headquarters. Hence, its name: the Madrid-Boadilla International. There, the club became a giant and achieved the long-awaited promotion to Second Division B. The exponential growth of the entity collided with the previous headquarters and, therefore, before reaching the bronze category, that historic decision was adopted.

Now, with the new owners and the budget injection, the team has not only acquired a new name (DUX Internacional de Madrid), but also a new location. As of the season that is about to begin, Inter will play the Villaviciosa de Odón. Also, not only the first team will do it, but the entire newly created academy. A new step forward with the aim of creating a structure that will take hold in professional football sooner rather than later.

They boost social networks

Also in professional football, but In Second Division B, the figure of Community Manager takes on special significance for the dissemination of the club's news and even to attract sponsors. Since the arrival of DUX, the club has reformed its social networks to be closer to its audience. All messages are accompanied by photographs, whether of training sessions or matches or illustrations created by the communication department itself to create an identity brand.

Likewise, most of its publications are accompanied by stripes similar to that of the club's kit. They also make frequent jokes, use GIFs and even interact with Thibaut Courtois and Real Madrid. In addition, they share the information that the media write about the progress of the project. Definitely, They have become closer to the spectator, to the fans, and it will not be surprising that sooner or later they will become one of the clubs with the most media pull in the capital.
