West Ham tests a revolutionary measure to get the public back to the stadiums

One of the great objectives of the clubs is to be able to guarantee the health safety of their fans. The teams are working to ensure that the public can return to the football stadiums as soon as possible and at West Ham they are developing a new entrance tunnel to the field.

The ‘hammers’ will become the first club to test a new initiative that could accelerate the return of fans to the fields. The English club works in a disinfection and protection tunnel against Covid-19.

This element consists of three sets of tunnels that provide facial recognition and take the temperature of the trackers that pass through them. Upon entry, personnel are sprayed with an alcohol-free solution.

West Ham is using these tunnels in their training grounds for players, their families and club staff as additional protection as they take a proactive approach to getting people into the facilities more safely.

The new tunnel will not be available for the game against Newcastle this Saturday as they must first prove its effectiveness even more.
