Atlético's left-back, Manu Sánchez, answered some questions from the club's official media at the team's concentration in Los Angeles de San Rafael.
Extension until 2025: I am quite happy because I renew with my lifelong team and that makes me very happy because it makes me want to continue working. The club has shown me that they trust me and being able to be with the elders now is a huge joy.
Preseason: Last year I was able to do it too and I was practically all year training with them, I was able to debut, play several games. Being here again now, another year, and now being part of them makes me want to keep working and keep trying to earn a position to stay here for many more years.
Los Angeles de San Rafael: It is always a very important part of the preseason and as this year is a bit strange it is less time, it is five days. As there are some teams that already start on the 12th and we on the 26th, this week is quite a key to gain strength and prepare well for LaLiga.
Back to training: Fairly good. The first two days were in groups, we were not all together, but since we are here we are all training together. We are all feeling quite well and we will all get better shape to be at the best physical tone for LaLiga.
