Alberto Moreno to a test to certify that he will be out for six months

Alberto Moreno, is one step away from having to be six months off, with which much of this season would be lost. The discomfort that the player was dragging on his left knee was worrying, so it was decided to carry out more tests and seek other medical opinions, with the idea of ruling out a serious injury or confirming it definitively. These tests certify that the player has affected the cruciate ligament of his left knee, which is already a serious injury.

The club has explained in its statement that after the medical tests carried out it is confirmed that the footballer has “affected the cruciate ligament of his left knee”, as a result of a strong contusion and poor support. But after this first assessment, the next step is to confirm the extent and involvement of the cruciate ligament, which requires an exploratory astroscopy. This test will take place this Tuesday in Barcelona, and, at the hands of Doctor Cugat. If this test confirms a great affectation of this ligament, the player would already be intervened in the same operation this Tuesday, and would suppose that Alberto Moreno must be six months off.
