In response to your communication dated August 4, 2020, regarding the status of the promotion playoff to the First Division, from which we acknowledge receipt, we convey the following considerations:
First of all, we understand that the petition raised by his entity has no place, since it does not suppose a cause that forces the termination of the competition. It should be remembered that this is a situation that has occurred in all categories of Spanish football and, therefore, the competition has not been terminated and, even less, taking into account the final classification that appears at the time. of the suspension. Furthermore, it is well known that playoff games have been played in other categories during the month of July and games are scheduled for this August.
On the other hand, regarding the delay in the start of the promotion playoff to the First Division, it is recalled that it was not only due to the match that must be played between R.C. Deportivo de la Coruña, S.A.D. and C.F. Fuenlabrada, S.A.D., but also the sanitary measures that have had to be taken with respect to its team, Real Zaragoza, S.A.D., as well as in some additional case, such as that of the U.D, Almería, S.A.D.
