Sevilla FC made official on Wednesday what was an open secret: Rony Lopes leaves on loan to Nice, in an operation that includes a non-compulsory purchase option that ranges between 18 and 20 million euros.
The winger arrived yesterday in the French French Riviera city and underwent the relevant medical examinations, after which he signed his new contract to place himself under the command of Patrick Vieira. It will be presented this Thursday and will already be incorporated into training.
Rony Lopes' season at Sevilla has been most disappointing, so much so that he has become the first player to leave the team, without even waiting for the end of the Europa League, the tournament in which he has had the most opportunities. The footballer has a contract until 2024 with Sevilla.
