Liverpool make Dejan Lovren's departure official

Dejan Lovren is no longer a Liverpool player. The English team has confirmed what was rumored last week and has announced the sale of the Croatian central to Zenit in St. Petersburg.

“We confirm that Dejan Lovren joins Zenit,” said the Jürgen Klopp team. Lovren had been at Anfield for six years, but lately he had been losing weight on the team.

In fact, its last ownership dates back to February, when Liverpool fell at Watford's home. The 31-year-old Croatian leaves Russia looking for more prominence in the Russian team, which will pay around 12 million euros.

“Everyone on the 'Reds' would like to thank Dejan for his brilliant contribution over the years and wish him the best in his new challenge,” says Liverpool.

Lovren was one of the entertainers of the Liverpool party after winning the 2019 Champions League

At Liverpool, Lovren has reaped a Champions League, a European Super Cup and a Premier League.
