Ayuso and Almeida congratulate Madrid fans for their “admirable example of responsibility” when celebrating LaLiga
The President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and the Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, congratulated this Friday the Madrid fans for their “admirable example of responsibility” in celebrating La Liga after taking over the trophy.
This has been stated by both, from the Las Ventas bullring, after yesterday there were no crowds around Cibeles after Real Madrid won its 34th League. Both the club itself and the Consistory asked the meringues to celebrate the title in their homes, “taking the club's flag to the balcony.”
“Congratulate the group of fans to Real Madrid with exemplary behavior in the city,” said the councilor, for whom the meringues made a demonstration “admirable by avoiding going to Cibeles.” He also recalled that “there have been scenes in other cities that have not occurred”, for which he has thanked “from the heart”.
