“Everything that comes will be good; Elche was not armed to fight for promotion”

Christian Bragarnik, Argentine businessman and representative of the property held by Score Club 2019, lives with “the illusion and expectation” of seeing Elche “in the medium term” in the First Division; rules out an immediate landing of Argentine players. This has been confirmed in the interview granted to the Jogo Bonito program on Late Radio.

Sports situation:

The League has been very even throughout the year. Elche is in the playoff with two dates missing, but there are many teams in few points. The first objective, which was to maintain the category, was achieved. We are glad to be close to the promotion and the idea is to be able to get involved. Everything that comes will be good because the team was not armed for that, although thank God things are happening at a sports level.

How do you experience it from Argentina:

We traveled until the pandemic hit and everything stopped. I am asking for a permit because it is necessary that I be in Elche for the start of the new season. From a distance, I am living it happy for the great season that has taken place and always with the hope and expectation that, in the medium term future, we can play in the First Division of Spanish football.

Football in the Spanish Second Division:

It is a League that although it is the Second Division, is very competitive. The players here (Argentina) have had a hard time adapting and we are learning. There is an option for some players to arrive, but the idea is to look for the best in Spain, within the salary limit that we have.

Argentine signings for the new season:

Each situation is unique. There are Argentine players who have great conditions, but it must be done gradually. Soccer, although all the fields are the same and is played eleven against eleven and with a ball, has a different way of playing, the grass is shorter, it is watered, soccer is faster … Adaptation takes a process that, perhaps, by taking many footballers outside together can be harmful.
