Hugo Lloris, captain of Tottenham Hotspur, clarified the heated discussion with Heung-min Son and explained that it was because of a move in which Everton almost got a draw.
In that action, which ended with a shot by Richarlison out, Son did not go down to defend, which Lloris reproached him.
“They are things from the locker room. What happened between Sonny and me is part of football. No problem. At the end of the game you could see that we were fine,” the French goalkeeper said in statements to Sky Sports.
The controversy comes because when the referee whistled the break, Lloris went running to look for Son, with several teammates having to separate them so that the fight did not go further.
