Haaland: “Now I don't think about leaving Dortmund at all”

Erling Haaland says goodbye this Saturday of a 2019-20 season which for him has been everything: it came out in the first phase of the Champions League playing for the modest Red Bull in Salzburg in such a way that the Borussia Dortmund he was unable to wait and took it to the winter market to Germany, where he has kept level and almost did not put the 'borusser' team in the quarterfinals of the continental tournament. In the absence of one last shock against Hoffenheim, his figures for this season are scary: 44 goals and 10 assists in 39 games.

So much that caught the eye of all the big ones from the Old Continent, including Real Madrid. The whites did the last summer a determined bet by another battering ram from Germany, Luka Jovic, who surprised everyone with his 27 goals in 2018-19, ten of them in the Europa League. Madrid paid 60 million to Eintracht Frankfurt for his transfer, but so far he has gone frog: only two goals this year. Haaland is on Madrid's agenda, but there is news on that path. The correct is that it has a termination clause of his contract with Dortmund from 75 million, which may be exercised as of January 1, 2021; the bad, that his agent is the famous Mino Raiola, whose commissions tend to make each operation very expensive and with which Madrid does not keep the best of relations.

In any case, Haaland no seems to be thinking of a Changes of winds, at least for now. The striker granted an interview to WAZ in which he explained how he sees his future; and, for the moment, he only sees it in yellow and black. “I don't think much about the future, I live in the present and decide what is best for my career at each specific moment. So I joined Dortmund in winter, with all the conviction. It is one of the best teams in the world, I have signed a long contract (until June 2024) and I have practically just arrived. So now I don't think about leaving at all. ”
