Conte: “I hope the conditions come soon for Serie A to return”

Seeing the goals of the Bundesliga has sparked the desire of Italian soccer fans. Yesterday the German championship was the most debated topic and the big question was: “Will June 13 be our turn?” At the moment, as always in the last two months, there are no certainties. There are presidents who, in silence, push to lower the curtain (for fear of the descent or to save money from salaries), and others who want to restart. The football government, represented by Federcalcio Gabriele Gravina president and Serie A president, Paolo Dal Pino, is doing everything possible to get the ball rolling. Group training should start tomorrow, but the protocol modified by the government on Monday, initially accepted by the FIGC, has been rejected by the clubs (except Parma, which announced the return to work). They ask to eliminate the compulsory concentration and, above all, the quarantine for the entire group if a single infected person appears.

The first Minister Giuseppe Conte, At the press conference that presented the 'phase 2' of the emergency, he made the teamwork sessions official, but reiterated that “There are still no conditions to communicate the date on which the championship will resume”, although he hopes “that they will arrive soon”. In the next few hours, he will meet with Gravina to discuss the protocol. Italy, from this Monday, reopens almost entirely: on May 25 the gyms start again, on June 15 theaters and cinemas. Soccer does not want to be left behind.
