Beatriz Cortázar gives us all the keys about Bertín Osborne’s paternity trial, which starts this Wednesday

Wednesday, January 22nd. It is the date that the judge set for the hearing of the trial for the paternity of Bertin Osborne. For this purpose, the child’s mother has already traveled to Seville, which is where this trial will be held, given that it is in a town in the capital of Seville where the singer resides. Although Bertín Osborne has insisted on repeating that he has assumed paternity in the statement he signed jointly with the woman herself, Gabriela Guillénthe judge has ignored that statement, which did not have legal status and which has not made it impossible for the paternity lawsuit to continue its course at the express wish of the magistrate herself, without Gabriela Guillén having had anything to do with it. Nor has Osborne’s defense been able to paralyze this process.

As we have already repeated more than once, justice has its deadlines and times, and that statement arrived after the deadline and outside the stipulated time. For this reason, and even though he acknowledged his paternity in public, Bertín Osborne has not paid for any of the maintenance of the child (who has already turned one year old), with Gabriela being the only one who is in charge of all the expenses that a child generates.

This is what he has stated in public and private and this is how he will be able to demonstrate it, given that it would not be strange for the judge to consider that Bertín Osborne has to assume that financial responsibility with retroactive effect. Be that as it may, we will finally know if Bertín decides to go to court or they do what many believe is going to happen: not appear and not volunteer to testify in front of the magistrate. Ultimately, the result may be the same.
