MADRID 18 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
FC Barcelona full-back Alejandro Balde denounced “quite a few racist insults” from the stands of the Getafe Coliseum during this Saturday’s match on matchday 20 of LaLiga EA Sports, where the Barça team did not go beyond a draw (1-1) .
“We knew that we were coming to a complicated field, against a complicated rival,” he said in statements to Movistar Plus, before going straight to the racist insults. “I have received quite a few racist insults from the fans, I think it is something that should not continue to happen. When the first half ended the referee activated the protocol,” explained the Spanish international.
Balde was also the protagonist for his plays on the left wing and for the tension that was emerging between both teams, with ‘Geta’ scratching a point against a Barça that forgave and failed again in its pursuit of the League lead. “A lot is happening to us, we are playing well but we have to win. It is the line to follow, we have many chances and we have to finish them sooner,” he concluded.
