Ámparo Larrañaga went to the Sonsoles Ónega set this Monday to promote the latest season of his play, Laplandwhich is performed at the Maravillas Theater in Madrid until December 8. The actress has spoken about her parents, Carlos Larrañaga and María Luisa Merlo, and has given surprising information about them.
“My mother is 80 years old. She is splendid and continues working in the theater”has said about her mother, while highlighting the effort and dedication of her parents in the profession: “My parents have worked a lot and I remember them rehearsing all morning for TVE in Studio 1. Then they went to do theater. It was very difficult to watch them”.

Later, Carlos Larrañaga remarried Ana Diosdado in 1979 and they were together until 1999. His third marriage, which began in 2000, was with María Teresa Ortiz-Bau. His fourth wife was Ana Escribano, from whom he separated in 2010 after marrying in 2006. In 2007 they had Paula, the actor’s youngest daughter, together.
