Ángel Cristo, on the alleged blackmail of Bárbara Rey

Ángel Cristo sat down this Friday with Santi Acosta and Beatriz Archidona to talk about the photographs that the magazine published last Wednesday Private. In them Bárbara Rey and Juan Carlos I appear in the house that the ex-vedette had in Boadilla del Monte. His son claims that he himself took them in 1994, when he was 13 years old, by order of his mother, despite the fact that she denies this information. In De Viernes, the young man has brought “evidence” to defend his version.

“I have been silent for 30 years, and if I have broken my silence it is because I want to go to the end”said Ángel, who, although he says he feels “embarrassed” by this situation, does not want his mother and sister to publicly call him a “liar.” “In the end, the truth will triumph and I will die peacefully, because Spain will know what has happened,” he said on the set.

“The photos were taken by me and, therefore, are mine. They were at my house. They were made at the request of my mother in order to fix her life through blackmail,” she declared before launching a challenge to her mother: “What my mother has to do is look me in the eyes in front of the judge and tell me that hasn’t happened.”

Sofía Cristo’s brother has highlighted that Totana asked her to “make copies” of the material she accumulated to confront the former monarch. In the program he showed the camera that, according to him, he used: “This is the camera with which those photographs were taken, which if they had been made public at the time, could have put the Crown in check.” “I suffered a lot, I was very afraid”has assured about the alleged episodes that he experienced with his mother, and has insisted that he was “a victim of child abuse.”

Ángel has provided different evidence to justify his testimony: recordings, videos, photographs and a dossier with valuable information and ordered chronologically.

The actress’s son claims that she blackmailed the king three times, and that the first of them was with the material that he obtained from his mother with the former monarch: “He carried out two successful blackmails and one was frustrated.” Ángel has also assured that after the first blackmail they offered his mother “between 25 and 30 million pesetas.”

“From that moment on, money began to enter the house. (…) My mother had a dressing room and behind the leather dresses there was a chest of drawers. Behind her was an area to hang long coats. There my mother used to keep the money and the copies that she ordered from me. There were bills, 10,000, 5,000…” “The first batch lasted very little because there were many debts to pay. “My mother changes a BMW for a Mercedes,” he stated, ensuring that the bills were inside a sports bag.
