Before the phone call from Bárbara Rey, Susanna Griso explained that the artist herself had spoken to her about the theft of some compromising images a few months ago, in the midst of the media war between mother and son over Ángel Cristo Jr.’s public attacks on her on television sets and in magazines.
“She told me that some very domestic photos had been stolen. Perhaps someone wanted to make a fortune with them.”said the presenter, who has acted as spokesperson for the emeritus king on more than one occasion due to the contact she maintains with him. And she launched her hypothesis: “These photos that the Dutch magazine is publishing are stolen. I deduce that a third party took the photos, which were under guard and are now coming to light.”.
Miquel Valls has pointed out: “Barbara Rey herself and her daughter Sofia point directly to a relative who is the son of Barbara Rey”. And Griso has followed the same line: “A relative who needs to make money, who has sold several exclusives, criticizing his mother, and who could now be trying to get some money”.
After all this, Griso also explained: “We saw photos of Corinna, preparing a barbecue. It’s true that they weren’t kissing… I think this country is over scandal”.
