An image from the Ca’ Foncello hospital in Treviso, Italy, accompanied the artist’s announcement: “Here we go. I’m going into surgery in a few hours for breast surgery on a malignant lump. Like every year, in July, I had a mammogram,” revealed Sabrina Salerno from her room at the medical centre.
