MADRID, 9 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The ACB has reached an agreement with the sports firm Peak to provide referees with clothing in all official ACB competitions, such as the Endesa League, Copa del Rey and Endesa Super Cup, over the next three seasons until 2027.
The ACB referees will wear three kits, which they will use depending on how they match the colors of the jerseys of the two teams in play: orange with black sleeves as the main look, black with orange sleeves, and gray with trim.
Peak is a sports brand founded in 1989 with close ties to basketball, which currently has a presence in more than 120 countries. Since its inception, players such as Jason Kidd, Dwight Howard and Tony Parker have worn its shoes, and currently several national teams such as Germany, Serbia and South Sudan are sponsored by the brand.
At the refereeing level, they have sponsored FIBA’s refereeing footwear for several seasons, reaching agreements with the FIBA Basketball Champions League and the 3×3 FIBA Tour. Now they are landing in Spain to dress ACB referees until 2027.
