Queen Letizia leaves Felipe VI alone at the funeral of his cousin, Juan Gómez-Acebo

Felipe VI has gone this Sunday, September 8, to the Military Cathedral of Madrid to say goodbye to his cousin, Juan Gómez-Acebo, who passed away on August 12 after a long illness. Although the presence of the Queen LetiziaThe monarch arrived at the funeral mass around 12 noon alone, hiding his face behind sunglasses. Perhaps it will be this afternoon, at the funeral, when Queen Letizia will also say goodbye to Juan Gómez-Acebo for the last time.

Inside the grounds, Felipe VI met with his sister, Infanta Cristinawho arrived in a vehicle driven by his son Miguel. Inside the car were also Pablo Urdangarin and her cousin, Alexia of Greece.

For now, Juan Carlos I -who has been staying at the exclusive Four Seasons hotel in Madrid since Friday- and his daughter, Infanta Elena, have not been seen entering the cathedral.
