Felipe VI has gone this Sunday, September 8, to the Military Cathedral of Madrid to say goodbye to his cousin, Juan Gómez-Acebo, who passed away on August 12 after a long illness. Perhaps it will be this afternoon, at the funeral, when Queen Letizia will also say goodbye to Juan Gómez-Acebo for the last time.
Inside the grounds, Felipe VI met with his sister, Infanta Cristinawho arrived in a vehicle driven by his son Miguel. Inside the car were also Pablo Urdangarin and her cousin, Alexia of Greece.
For now, Juan Carlos I -who has been staying at the exclusive Four Seasons hotel in Madrid since Friday- and his daughter, Infanta Elena, have not been seen entering the cathedral.
