Hoka presents ‘Mach X 2’, a plate and foam to ‘fly’ on the asphalt

MADRID, 2 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The American multinational sports equipment company Hoka presents its ‘Mach X 2’ shoe, a model with a renewed profile that provides even more speed than its predecessor thanks to the Pebax plate and the highly responsive foam so that the runner can accumulate kilometers at a higher speed.

The Hoka Mach X 2, which are already available on the brand’s website and in stores in Spain and Portugal, offer the same features as their predecessors, but with more improvements to make races faster, lighter and more reactive.

Designed for use on asphalt and designed for specific training such as long series and marathon runs, the new Mach X 2 aims to conquer thousands of runners around the world thanks to its new midsole distribution, where its Pebax plate is inserted, and an even lighter and more stylized upper.

The main novelty of the new Mach X 2 is the design of its Pebax plate, which comes in a winged shape, unfolding along the midsole and being visible on the side of it. This design, added to a more aggressive layout of the midsole, provides each stride with an extra push to advance on the asphalt.

In addition, this midsole is configured with two different foams, one of EVA that occupies the lower layer of the shoe and another of PEBA, which is placed on top of it and in contact with the foot to offer greater reactivity and lightness to the user.

In addition, the outsole, which has been designed to save weight and improve durability, is also developed with the aim of not causing slipping during training sessions carried out on wet terrain or asphalt.

The upper of these new Mach X 2 is another of the most changed parts of the shoe, starting with the collar that holds the ankle, inspired by Hoka’s competition models. In addition, most of the upper is made of a light and breathable fabric and has more reinforced parts in the tongue area.
