Paris 2024 | Update on Spain’s participation in the second day of competition

PARIS, Aug. 30 (by EUROPA PRESS special correspondent Ramón Chamorro) –

The Paralympic Games in Paris will begin their second day of sporting competition on Friday, August 30, in which the delegation will have the chance to increase its medal tally, which currently has three bronze medals for Ricardo Ten, Miguel Luque and Enrique Alhambra.

In track cycling there is a bet that seems quite safe, in the form of Alfonso Cabello from Córdoba, who will compete in the kilometre time trial in the C4-C5 class in search of defending the gold he won three years ago and also in London 2012, while in the pool there will also be the bet of Anastasiya Dmitryv, who will make her debut in the Paralympic Games this Friday at the age of 16 and will do so in her favourite event, the 100 breaststroke SB8, where she has won the last two world titles and is also the European champion.
