Cate Blanchett ‘eats up’ the Venice red carpet in a metallic Armani dress and recycled Vuitton pearls

Actress and Louis Vuitton Watches & Jewelry Artistic Director Francesca Amfitheatrof has recovered 47 white Akoya pearls and 33 grey Tahitian pearls, as well as 633 diamonds from three of the house’s previous High Jewelry designs. In this design, the grey and white metallic pearls have been hand-strung in a fluid line along the chest and back, incorporating a variety of Art Deco-inspired bezel-set diamonds and enameled pavé motifs around both shoulders. The actress is thus betting on circular fashion and sending a powerful message of awareness for the care of the Environment.
